I'd better start packing, and I still can't quite believe

We're flying to Amsterdam on Sunday. Amsterdam, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Antwerp and Paris.
I haven't been home for year and a half and it's almost 4 years since I've been in Paris. I just found some photos I took on my last visit... Mmmm.... I just can't believe I'll be there again

I have notebook full of addresses I have been collecting in preparation for the trip, but if you have any tips on where we should go - I'd love to know!

Winter light. Subtle and graphic. Since I moved to Melbourne two years ago (almost exactly) winter's my favorite time of the year. With cold early morning bike rides to work, green green parks and this light. Never enough.

In the last few months I've been spending a lot of time in ceramics studio. I'll show you some of the cups I made:

How does it happen exactly? you think you're just going to have a short break and wait a little bit, just let things settle down a bit and then it's six month gone.

I was distracted. I got sidetracked. But it was summer after all. It was hot and I didn't feel like doing much. I grew a few tomato plants though, that's something.

I missed my sewing machine, and since I am still happily wearing some of the things I made last year, I decided to restock my little shop.

GIVEAWAY!

And I almost forgot that I was going to post about my little giveaway...

So. I discovered I a have some photos I printed a while ago. I still think they're quite nice though. They are all 5''x7'', very nicely printed, and I have NINE sets to give away, each set contains FIVE or SIX of these photos.

I'll mail them anywhere in the world. If you'd love to receive one of the sets, please leave a comment to this post. Thank you!

UPDATE: all gone! thanks for your interest! I am happy I found some new homes for them!

And everybody who commented, please don't forget to send me your postal address via email! (you can find it in the right side bar) Thank you!

Life without internet

Well, almost. Btw, have you hear the band called "Life without buildings"? 'Cause you should!

I haven't just disappeared from this space. I started studying ceramics, something I wanted to do for like ever (maybe I just had to try everything else before that, just to be sure? oh, well). Between hours and hours spent in studio (so tired, so happy!) and work, I barely have time to check my email... mmm... I'm missing some of you I used to "meet" daily, but... that's what I need to sacrifice at the moment, I guess. I'll be back!

There going to be no linen garments in the shop for a while. Due to the dramatic change in currency exchange rates... sounds boring, I know, but that's the truth... I am glad I have a small pile sitting in my drawer for my own clothes! And for those of you who asked - I'll let you know when things will change.

I am enjoying my last quiet day before the "storm". I am both very excited and a little bit worried about everything that's going to happen in the next two weeks. Some very important people are boarding the plane at the moment to be with us when... Deborah is coming from Sydney to take photos of us... (on her own birthday! how special is that and how sweet of her?!) Stead will drive all the way to Canberra to keep an eye on two small silver objects for us for a bit... I'm sure you're getting the idea. :) I'll come back and let you know how everything went. See you then!

And that's the photo of me at work. Sometimes it's not much to do.
